Where Do I Start?

A question that is often asked by a novice inventor is “I know nothing about the Invention Industry - what do I have to do to get started and get my idea to market and still be able to protect my interests?”

This is probably the single most often asked question that we receive from people who have had no experience or any real idea as to how to proceed with their invention process.

They often hope that they can sell their brilliant new idea to somebody who will simply hear their story first hand and clearly understand their idea or concept and be so excited in it that they will immediately hand over wads of cash to get it going.

Well, If this sounds like it’s just like your dream, I hate to disappoint you, but sorry, it just does not work that way at all.

You may be amazed to hear that often an inventor will end up handing a fistful of money in the other direction.

So - How does an inventor turn their new invention or ideas into money and also protect this invention in the process?

The best answer I can give anyone, is to study at how others have succeeded and be educated in how the whole process works – read as much as you can about the subject, seek advice and opinion from those that have been there and matter and definitely seek out some professional help in what is involved and how to potentially turn an idea into a money making invention.

Make sure that at the very least, that you have everyone who comes in contact with your idea or invention fill out a Non Disclosure and Non Use Agreement and that they really are aware that any breach would likely bring legal action from you for damages.
